Deangelo T's AUTOBIOGRAPHY
My name is Deangelo Travis. I was born in Chicago Illinois.
At the age of thirteen I moved to Denver, CO, where my mother raised me and two other siblings as a single mother.
My father was absent from my life, so this left me with no male model. I soon began to involve myself in criminal activity.
That led me to a juvenile facility at the age of sixteen years old, where I served a two-year sentence.
During this time incarcerated, I discovered a passion for writing music. This became an outlet for me to escape my
current circumstance and express myself through this new passion that I had discovered.
Upon release from the juvenile facility, I proceeded to work on my craft: set up shows and promote new content throughout the years.
My passion for writing and expression through art began to grow, which sparked a new interest: to become an indie film writer, so that I
could bring a visual to my art of writing.
I enrolled in multiple classes at The Denver Media Center to obtain more knowledge in videography.
Now I currently hold the position of a music artist, indie film writer and entrepreneur.
In the past I’ve orchestrated community events for the local youth, such as basketball tournaments, talent shows, and concerts.
I use these platforms and outlets to reach the youth and bring awareness to our communities.
This is my objective and motivation to why I chose to be a music artist and pursue the career of an indie film writer:
so that I could inspire, educate, and revive.
After overcoming many obstacles myself, and surviving trauma circumstances, I feel it’s only written to share my story through music and film to cultivate others.
Now known as Humble for his next upcoming LP.
